From prolific watercolor artist Cecile Johnson, an American Watercolor Society member, is this colorful scenic print of a painting featuring a sloop boat docked in an island location with a crew onboard and people on the dock painted in a simple yet detailed midcentury style. Cecile Johnson painted scenic works all over the world, but her favorite was part of the plein air school of Southern California and favored both the California Coast and the Caribbean which is where this painting is likely located. Framed in very nice thin carved dark wood 15.5" x 18.5" frame and has museum quality glass.
