Buyers Products SaltDogg Hydraulic Replacement Tailgate Spreader is designed to install in place of the tailgate on 1 ton dump bodies. It is easy to mount and dismount and is ideal for dump bodies with low ground clearance. The spreader can handle bulk salt or a 50/50 salt/sand mix. The spreader is constructed of corrosion resistant 304 stainless steel. It features an anti-flow plate as well as a lifting loop for ease of installation. The spreader is equipped with a 6 in. dual flight auger with 3/8 in. flighting to keeps material moving. It's driven by a single direct drive hydraulic motor and has screens on either end. The 18 in. poly spinner uses its own independent hydraulic motor to spread material up to 25 ft with a driver side or center discharge. Hydraulic spreader controls are sold separately. A variety of options are available, including manual hydraulic, manual with load sensing, and electric over hydraulic, available with or without GPS.
