Haynes Chesapeake Bennett Pottery plate trivet depicting Niagara Falls. The plate is made by the Chesapeake Pottery, which was founded in Baltimore in 1880. The company was initially owned by the Brougham brothers and John Turnstall before being sold to David Frances Haynes in 1882. Haynes hired experienced potters from England to manage the pottery. In 1887, Haynes sold the pottery to Edwin Bennett, but bought it back in 1895 and renamed the company D.F. Haynes and Son. The company closed in 1914.
The trivet is designed to protect surfaces from hot pots and dishes. It can also be used to display spices and oils. Trivets are usually made of ceramic, stoneware, or metal.
You will get same as shown in pictures. It’s got minor damage in back see in pictures.
